Khandbari, a district center of sankhuwa-sabha, is a beautiful town lying on a ridge
about 3600 ft. Views of Chamlang are easily seen from the main bazaar area. The town actually consists of houses on both sides
of the ridge, continuing on for three or four kilometers. If in town on Saturday, make sure to find the haat bazaar (local
market). It is a great place to buy food and just soak up the culture.
